We were thinking of stopping in Vicksburg, MS. On the way back. That makes for a 7.5 hour first day, and a 5 hour second day for us.
You can keep going after we split off for home.

We can even make the first day longer if it will help you. But 8 hours in a 914 is a long day.

Will that work for you?

Nope. It was highly rated and inexpensive. But the street name does make it easier to remember.

My wife wants me to bump this thread, and let you guys know that we will have an SUV pulling the trailer, so if you want to put some stuff in it to go to Helen, we can accommodate you.

I’m ready to depart for El Paso this AM but the dog’s not. He hasn’t eaten for 2 days and the earliest I can get a vet appt is 1130. So it’ll be nice and toasty outside whEn I depart Phoenix.
It’s only a 6:30 drive so I’ll be there around dinner time. And only an 8-ish hour drive to Dallas on Tuesday. Taking my time and enjoying the...um hot boring freeway drives. I’ll be ready for cooler weather and twisty roads in GA. Now if Florence will veer north and spare my first Okteenerfest.

Hey @ClayPerrine @Betty @bandjoey I’m at the motel6 in Euless. What time are we meeting tomorrow? My cell is(480) 721-0003. Hope we’re not driving in the dark. Rt headlight has a short somewhere in the wiring. Parking lot is too scary to work on it tonight by myself.
