The chrome trim on the rollbar and the front triangle support trim.
What is the real finish on these pieces? Is it clear anodized? I don't think it is just polished aluminum because it would have oxidized by now? Or is it clearcoated aluminum? Just wondering... |

It's anodized clear, you can remove it just like stripping wheels.
Brad, using thick leather squares (bout an inch) as pads with a brass ball peen, I have made a couple sets look very nice from beyond the grave. It requires a very soft tap, like trying to crack an egg with a spoon... a lil harder, I did it by letting the hammer just fall on it, don't get into stretching..
