I know there are several of us here who are smart enough / lucky enough to own a Cayman. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crest.gif) Please check in here and provide some details.

There's more Cayman owners here than I would have thought (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
I had been looking at Boxters since last summer - pre 2000 or post 2005, with the more reliant IMS bearings. A couple months ago, started thinking, we already have a 914 that the top comes off of, so started looking at Caymans. I think they look sexier anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) Being that we'd be spending a lot of time in AZ, I wanted a light color exterior and light interior ... preferably silver with tan or light gray, but ended up purchasing a white 2007 'S', 6-speed manual with tan interior. I test drove a few that I just weren't worth the price - broken bits here & there, and one had real noisy cam chains (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yikes.gif) The inspection on the last one I looked at indicated it was a well-maintained specimen and the test drive was exhilarating (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) Planning to keep it for a long time ... either until I can't drive, or have a hard time getting in & out of it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |
