Something like this, but narrower so we can drop the engine on it. It will be Super In Law customized for sure.

Pretty much chronicle Jack's exploits along with projects at MiddleMotors.

Here he is in July finishing up the tuning of the left rear qtr. panel on Taylor's chassis.

Then this summer we painted the old farm house after 30 years.
Plus we resided the front. Some portions of that wall were from the original homestead
built in the late 1800's.

class winning NORRA 500 race.

Here Super In Law is creating fixture pieces for pre drilling the cases for pipe plugs.

Now hes working on our combo engine drop / run stand.
After our test drop I think we'll build two or three. One run stand. Two drive train storage dollies.

This simply has to be the coolest thread.

Yeah, but it doesn't include his gleeful presentation of the part needed to fix my rear trunk lock. I was maybe 2,000 miles from home at wcr 2018. Let us go back home locking up the trunk like civilized people. That miscreant Cary is almost as bad.

Here he is engineering and test fitting the rear solid transmission mount for the run mode. Ours will be bolted in and isolated. I hate rattles.
We're on about plan H. Went thru a lot of variations. But I wanted quick and dirty.

We've been busy all week.
Me, making sure I've ordered all the parts for both the engine stand and the DP long
repair. Plus lots of shop housekeeping and maintenance.

Here's a good shot of the Mad Scientist at work.
Attached Image

A couple shots of our work in progress.

Stand is already in use. Ran an oil pressure test on the DP engine yesterday, 30 seconds ZERO oil pressure. Mechanical oil pressure gauge doesn't waver.
Had to walk away .................. telling myself, I wasn't going to EVER start someone
else's engine rebuild again.

Time fly's ...............
Merry Christmas from MiddleMotors and Jack & Cary

Work continues on the engine run stand. Should be running the DP zero oil pressure
engine be next week. No primer goo in the pump.
But here he is chomping at the bit.

Attached Image

He can't wait to fabricate the next gadget. Monday was a saddle mount for the dual mechanical oil pressure sender.
Thursday, fuel pump and oil catch can mounts.
