Looking to put HID H4 headlights in. Has anyone done this? Where did you get the power? All kits get it from the battery. I have LED now. Did you run a cable all the way to the battery? Thanks. Dave

My ballasts just plugged into the headlight connector. At 8 amps at startup and 3 nominal it's not drawing more than stock current.

There wasn't a separate power connection? On all my other HID installations I had to connect to the battery, I didn't know that would work

OK, my kit came with the standard battery harness too. I bought the h4 plug adapter harnesses separate.
