Haha. We got our loaded Grand Caravan (Atlantic Blue! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/w00t.gif) ) beginning of June. It's what my wife wanted (she loves it (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) ).

Let's form a club!

Anyway. It's not a bad vehicle despite the un-cool stereotype. And I don't care for SUV's.

Anyway, don't be too embarrased, you aren't alone. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

My wife is in denial... First she turned 30 this year, and now a mini-van.

That TT is deffinatly a beauty, but It looks like audi's reputation hold true (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif). I've got a 93 audi 90 and it's wonderful car as long as nothing breaks, because if it does get out the KY because it's going to be brutal. I had the whole cooling system go out in it about 20,000 miles ago and once the ignition switch went to crap and none of the power accessories would work during a hot day in seattle, that was a nigtmeare. In my opinion it seems that audi trys to be to revolutionary with what they do and it end's up having a lot of problems that the consumer has to deal with. It's like that with every new idea. The BMW iDrive for example was a nigtmear when they first put it in the 7 series. All kinds of electrical nightmeares that many times forced the dealers to buy back cars. Audi seems to do similar stuff but in different ways. I was told that the A8 has some sorta of special vaccum system that locks and unlocks the doors, I don't even wan't to think about what it would be like to replace that. Anyway beautiful car, but it comes at a price (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif).

Nothin wrong with a Mini-van (as long as I don't have to drive it everyday). (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

My wife loves hers.... she won't let me get rid of it. I offered to buy her a new one. Still won't get rid of it. 99 Mercury Villager Estate with 83K on it. Still in pretty good shape. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

glad to know i am not the only minivan victim here... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)

i gotta admit with the seats folding into the floor there is more useful space for hauling stuff than my full size bronco had (traded in on the minivan).

wife is happy and it is a good kid/family hauler so i can't complain.

i get to drive the subaru legacy wagon that was my wifes car.

besides, i can be cool in the teener right?

At this point I'm wishing this car was a minivan! Still waiting to hear back from the dealership, but I'm sure its going to suck.

My wife actually wanted this car, and I was hesitant about it, knowing the Audi's aren't exactly the hallmark of reliability. It had been well cared for and garaged most of its life, always factory serviced, etc., and we had a PPI done on it, so we did what we could, but I guess its still an Audi...

I suppose I will have to find a factory service manual somewhere and start learning the ins and outs of this thing. But then, we got a newish car so I wouldn't have to work on it. Bad choice I guess. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

Well, the news from the dealer is good and bad. The good news is theres nothing wrong. The bad news is, the clutch went out yesterday and now its working fine. I think when we get the car back I'm going to have to take a look at it myself and see whats going on.

So I guess we got a carwash and complimentary Dodge Neon for a day for $120 !!! SUCH A DEAL!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
