Isn't the headlight switch, the first notch, the parking lights, and then pull out all the way, and headlights pop up?

I'm wondering if a switch that I got, was the wrong one, and go put in??
Especially if it was sent directly to the mechanic, and I didn't see it. I don't recall a switch like that. It only pulls out the first step.  |

Spoke’s answer is spot on (pun intended):-) in your other thread. |

On my car, first notch raises the headlights but just the parking lights are on. 2nd notch the headlights come on.

1st notch = parking lamps; 2nd notch = headamps; going back to 1st notch from 2nd notch = parking lamps on with headlamps up but not lit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
