I installed these springs in my V8 914 last week...

I believe them to be 100# springs and they did put the ride height exactly where I wanted it (the car was a little low for me with the stock springs).

I was surprised, however, that they were shorter than the stock springs...

I had always thought that 100# springs were the same height as stock springs, just with thicker wire.

Thanks, George.

I was going for a near stock look with the nose down a little rather than up. These springs gave me what I was looking for. The car will never be a great handler due to my desire to not modify the body and to have stock looking wheels and tires (but it sure does scoot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ).

It looks like this now...

A little hard to get the full effect with the bumpers, valances and rocker covers off.
