Are you suggesting that they aren't needed?

Nope... suggesting you don't hijack a thread (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Do you know what model car they came from or have a part number?
Did you do any mods to fit them?
These look like a good upgrade for my car. I have the old model 911 struts with M calipers and a 19 mm master cyl.
Thanks for the info (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

By no means dissing Mike beautiful hubs or Berns system but your 911 struts have a beefier spindle. I don't think that would be an "up"grade. I think the rest you could do to your suspension (Koni Inserts and the Calipers... oh, and the faster yellow paint)

I just want to upgrade to the calipers, using my struts. I would like the 4 pistons and the larger brake pads.
