I have an old pair of rear Kontrolle shocks that I bought for my first 914. They can't have more than a few hundred miles on them. My recollection is that they were an "economy" shock so maybe not any better than KYB. It was 35 years ago, but I liked the ride they gave - stiffer than the blown Sachs they replaced. Don't know if I'd like them now.
Anyway, I had forgotten about these shocks and bought a pair of Bilsteins for my build. I just ran across them in the shed and wonder if they are worth passing on to someone or if I should just scrap them. Can't find much info on the Interwebs. |
