Pretty happy with these 5.25” speaker mounts and JBL GTO 529s I picked up on eBay. Perfect fit. Now if I could just figure out where im going to put a sub. Happy 914er right here.

I used the fiberglass ones I bought a long time ago,from memory I think the speakers were 6.5" which just fitted,however too deep to clear the heater hoses which I don't use anyway. I do prefer the 914rubber versions as I like the look better. I like to use JBLs in my cars as they offer a great sound for a fair price,running a NOS Blaupunkt London MP37 headunit which works well. I'am thinking a small self powered sub would be right for the small area the 914 has,another job to sort latter. |

Sub in the console side or do the passenger foot well floor board. There is a hunk of foam that fills a void under the carpet.
