Pretty happy with these 5.25” speaker mounts and JBL GTO 529s I picked up on eBay. Perfect fit. Now if I could just figure out where im going to put a sub. Happy 914er right here.

Are those the speaker surrounds from 914rubber?

I used the fiberglass ones I bought a long time ago,from memory I think the speakers were 6.5" which just fitted,however too deep to clear the heater hoses which I don't use anyway.
I do prefer the 914rubber versions as I like the look better.
I like to use JBLs in my cars as they offer a great sound for a fair price,running a NOS Blaupunkt London MP37 headunit which works well.
I'am thinking a small self powered sub would be right for the small area the 914 has,another job to sort latter.

Sub in the console side or do the passenger foot well floor board. There is a hunk of foam that fills a void under the carpet.

Yes these are the 914rubber brand. Love them!
