Hello World!
Looking for recommendations on rebuilding my Weber carburetors... Is this a DIY project for a newbie, or Are there recommended shops or vendors here for that? (updated with pictures) (2 new pics added - other side of carb) Thanks in advance, Sean |

Hello World! Looking for recommendations on rebuilding my Weber carburetors... Is this a DIY project for a newbie, or Are there recommended shops or vendors here for that? Thanks in advance, Sean I just had mine redone for a 914-6. Judging from the 3 months it took, the 2 pages of 44 parts replaced, the huge bag of dented or mangled bits returned, and the precise measuring it took to finish, I'd say "NO DIY NO WAY". But if you're talking a DGV or 2 barrels, it may be different and this is the place to find out! |
