Trying to get the boat running, need it for a party this weekend. I support a skydiving event at Disappearing Island near Daytona. Going to be about 60 skydivers jumping on to the island Sunday.

It spent 3 weeks waiting on jack stands with the tranz on the floor waiting for Throwout Bearing job etc.... parts. Drive-able now. But it rained today.

Main reason, I have a 72 VW bus on jack stands. No way I am driving that in 10 months....But I am trying.

Been busy with work work. Just finished a project that resulted in 4 patent applications.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif)

Started on a new project today for Porsche!
If all goes well, my code will be in either the 2020 (tight deadline, probably not going to work) or 2021 models (much more likely) ...

Yesterday the Water Softener sprung a leak.
Today the garage door sheared a pivot bolt, again, a grade 8 this time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

It's like the house feels neglected with me trying to get 2 cars running for WCR (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/yikes.gif) Be careful with that door, Chris ...

More of the 'same-old, same old' happening here. We got some rain in the am, then the winds picked-up in the afternoon. Blew loose dirt everywhere (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

However, I got more soil cut out, sand base and more bricks installed. This isn't going as fast as I had hoped, but any forward progress is ... well, forward progress (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

In hind-sight, I should have stopped by the local Home Depot to hire a day laborer ... but I just didn't know which Juan to pick (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

My old air drying desiccant system failed (I failed to replace the stuff inside in a timely manner)

So I am soldering up 50 feet of 3/4 copper tubing.
Once that is done I'll be running a line to the front of the 2 car garage for a 50 foot hose reel.

I'm waiting for the mechanic to release "Walther" from custody. He's been busy fixing the stuff the last shop didn't fix properly. (Grrrrrr......) I'll give this guy credit for wanting to be sure everything is right before he gives me the car back, but my "project car" keeps getting bumped by other, more pressing turnarounds.

That, plus unpredictable weather combined with my limited availability for pickup, has greatly delayed our reunion.

That looks an awful lot like the solar collector plumbing I'll be building for the roof on my trailer.

Solar electricity will run a pump with water from a storage tank through the collector and back to the tank all day long, providing lots of hot water in the evening hours (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Am still in the slammer. When I get my ankle bracelet I will be able to start working on it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif). Ok, so I don’t have an excuse.
