Back a few years ago this was an NLA chunk of rubber with a few steel plates that went for $2500 for a 40 year old part. I see now on ebay these have been reproduced by URO (shudder) for $150ish and wondered if people have tried them?

I was going down the sport transmission mount approach but would try this if it was any good.

Yes, they make the -4 mount. Why buy it when the solid -6 mount is the same price? Weakness of the 4-mount was the holes in the rubber.

Mark I asked the question purely out of curiosity.
The 6 mount is certainly the better replacement choice.
Porsche currently has electronically stiffened mounts that actuate when track mode is selected......to improve shift precision and chassis rigidity.
Stiffer IS better.
