I am installing a 1983 carrera into my widebody 914. Wiring help? I figured out most everythimg else!
I dont accept failure! am a good tech!
Wiring harness from 3.o cis to 1972 1.7 using cis. [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

Make sure you have a blow off flapper valve so you CIS box will not blow up the airbox if you get a backfire.

You have to turn the airbox 180*, use a CIS pump and IIRC accumulator.
I'd use headers from MSDS or Ben's (mb911 ) heat exchangers and he also has an oil tank plus lines, tin is available from Restoration Design, Naro or maddog for a front mount. Rich for the cooler mod and throttle cable set-up, KEP for a flywheel and clutch.
