NOS never mounted early Monza (quad tip) 1.7/1.8L $275 $225
(some shelf wear)

Is this system too small for a 2056 with SSI’s? Not sure if ‘early.. 1.7/1.8L’ has to do with describing the tube diameter of the system or the 4 hole inlets.

Any SSI HE's set whether 1.7-1.8 or 2.0 should have the same tube diam.
To my knowledge SSI (or now Dansk) never made a late (single outlet) system.
[edit: George now sells a system like this ]
On the early systems the differentiation is the configuration of the HE's.
On the 1.7-1.8L HE's, the tubes swept up where they met the muffler where the 2.0L's didnt.
This necessitated a different hanger and a different muffler.
The quad tips was just a different design some people like.
Bottom line a 2056 isn't so significantly bigger that you will notice any gain or loss.
SO ...yes it would be fine for that setup

The flange holes and gasket holes are sized differently 1.7 vs 2.0 as well
