EDIT: brackets sold, several sets of plates available.
This is a set of restored early solid steel brackets used in Early 1970-1972? cars. The pivot brackets are one pieces cast steel. The later brackets were cast zinc a with a steel pivot shaft pin inserted. Later ones are more prone to breaking. These are correct for a 914-6. New steel packing plates were laser cut and zinc plated. New allen head screws and flat washers included. I do need to add lock washers for these which are not in the picture. You will need new bushings which are carried by 914Rubber. I can also tell you not to plate the 914 rear trunk lock receiver - wasted 3 of those, and the pull handle for the front trunk release. I have had good luck powder coating the front trunk release handle. The trick is to go very light on the powder. Just enough to cover without much thickness. Cerikote would be good on that also. |

[/quote] Good idea to put a magnet to any parts to be plated. Stainless does not plate well either. Tends to blister. I have had some zinc parts gas put when powder coated bubbling the paint.
