Does anyone see any harm in painting the ECU case? Have kind of a crusty one and want to clean it up.

The can is well sealed, mask off a few bits and go for it.

I agree. Just mask and spray. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Did mine when I replaced the harness. Looks much better. Even resprayed the holder black too.

Be careful about taping over the identification sticker. On one I painted, when I peeled the tape off, the numbers came off with it. And it is a one year ECU '74 2.0

Now I know what it is, but without the numbers on it there could be a problem if I were to try and sell it.
