So Friday was nice and I had to run to the auto store to grab oil and filter for my daily driver and I decided to take the 914 cause why not (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I did notice a little tiny puddle under the very back of the car and snapped a photo of where I think it's coming from. This is the speedometer adapter thing right?

What's recommended procedure for fixing?

That, or a couple of members sell refurbished units for ~$50. McMark @McMark has some made with double O-ring seals. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Are these the correct parts?

O-Ring
Seal

Anything else besides those? Will I need to drain trans fluid to do this?

Yes

Always make sure you can open the fill before you drain.

If you get the car nose down you can change it with out draining the trans. Knowledge from Cap'n Crusty. RIP

The one we make actually has the seals you need, the new aluminum part and and extra seal.

The double seal actually makes for a MUCH better seal.

We are currently finishing up a production run. It has been awhile since we 1st made these. If we get 10 takers I'll do up a GB as we will be flush with these again soon (like days)
