On a VW on Facebook. Not knowing VW is this a type 2 or 3 motor? Why not side draft carbs on a type 4?

I saw that on Facebook today. I thought that looked really cool! No air cleaner though. You could make a few different manifold lengths to see which worked best.

Yeah, the trick setup for the fan was to use a 411 fan housing and then the bellows hookup so you suck air like stock.
