Thinking of getting a 3.2 or a 993 3.6. If using the factory 914-6 engine mount will I run into any clearance issues around the crank pulley area?
I know of a few other issues that I may encounter. For you 3.2 and 3.6 guys out there any words of wisdom before I jump into this? |

I currently have a 131 mm crank pulley and stock 6 upper.
With the 131 mm installed it's tight to swap out the belt. I don't think I would be able to get one on if needed. Maybe with the fan access hole cut into the firewall. Yeah I know some would say bad idea.. I also have a 3.2, 2 belt and single pulley here. I'll have to find them so I can test it out. I believe the 3.6 engine mount is a totally different style mount ? I'm also gonna stay with the factory 6 mount not an aftermarket unit. Attached image(s) |
