Mark, are you also making progress on the balsa wood reinforced GT version? Still interested if you have figured out pricing.

I plan to open up the GB for these to all and after we have our production run on these I will be able to tie up the molds longer. As far a pricing I will not know how long it takes to build until I do one, so the answer is not yet. |

We have the 3 orders we opened up this GB on. We had not listed on the site yet as the issue is crating. I have finally figured out how to crate so they can ship Fedex not LTL. Unfortunately it means 2 crates. Cost more to crate but less to ship. Blake should have these listed on the site some time this week for all to buy. There were 3 guys that REALLY wanted these so I did a a case study before we open these up to all.

Could you ship these via greyhound? I have shipped a couple very large but not heavy items via greyhound and they were surprisingly affordable.

I can get some pics of the finish tomorrow. It's a white Gel coat. Not really a finished part, but ready for paint with some minimal prep.

We've been reworking our fright rates with LT and asked Fedex for special rating for the hoods. We are waiting for Fedex to finalize their numbers, but will be in full production soon.
On another note the rear 1/4 panels mold were pulled in carbon fiber and we have door skins we did in fiberglass these molds will come on line shortly too. Also the lower air dam with brake cooling ducts. We have 2 other variants we are working on too. So we can offer an air dam with a cooling package including cooling plates we are working on too! Lots of new stuff Attached thumbnail(s) |

Oooooo ... I'd be interested in a CF front lid with headlight delete and the white surface. Always wanted to delete the pop-ups and fabricate something similar to Felix's 'Neo-914' headlights in the turn signal buckets (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
I don't see them listed on the site yet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Also, has Oscar's offer to provide a receiving/distribution 'hub' for shipping to So Cal been discussed any further? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |
