Guess I did not make my wording clear.
Orginal rubber = heavy bolts on with 10mm nuts underside, I get them know them well. Fiberglass sets where produced a while back and you mention you produced a set. I have a set of these original production run units. Lets call these Aphla this run of Fiberglass lets call Beta What is the difference between Alpha and Beta sets? Is it worth the upgrade to get to Beta sets if I have a new set of Alpha Still in the box waiting to be put on? That was the real question I was trying to get answered. Sorry for the lack of clear communication. |

To answer your question -
The alpha ones were good, texture not quite correct. The Beta are textured off the bumper tops we make so look more like the original bumpers. Honestly, if you have a set, the value of "upgrading" to the Beta it negligible for 2 reasons 1- Many folks sand off the texture to paint same as body color, in this case there would be a little less sanding as the Alphas has a more "drywall" type texture with more material. 2-The gel coat finish is a different texture on the betas, but still both are glossy. From more than 20 ft away you may not even see the diference. Pulling the 1st off the new molds in the morning. Pics soon |

Pulled the set and have these out to show how they compare to my OEM bumpers. We are just making fixtures to mount the tops. Should be able to have all costs figures and open up the GB this next week with production to begin about then also.
Here is the front next to my OEM bumpers Attached thumbnail(s) |

The really cool thing is they can be sanded smooth and painted the body color. A few have done that.

We have the fiberglass handled, it’s the mounts.
They have to be correct with angle and placement. Making a fixture to assure proper assembly |
