After several months of research and years of owning other cars, I've finally added a 914 to the mix!

Located this through the help of a friend, who saw it parked at Amelia Island's Werks Reunion back in March with a "For Sale" sign in the window. Called the number, confirmed it was still available, asked some pertinent questions, and took the plunge to head down to Jacksonville FL on Sunday with a cashiers check and a trailer.

Got it registered today and took it for a nice spin on nearby twisties...what a great car!

@desmomini great car. Great color, nice wheels, already an aftermarket steeringwheel, and a brown interior ! Maybe a floormat change and you are ready to rock !
Have fun with your new car. And with the cassettetape that came with the car...hope it is the kind of music you like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

@dt4 : his interior is not beige, he has a brown one. Beige is the lighter color interior (which I have)

Brown, better still
my black seat covers are held together with Gorilla tape so I am going to order new covers from 914 rubber in Brown with plaid insert plus brown door card material and back pad and a brown carpet set
I think the brown or beige interior makes for a much nicer feel than black in a green car.
