Strip most of the parts in place. Body parts, interior, engine/trans, etc. Remove and catalog/place in bins. Have a handful of strong people on standby to maneuver out by hand. The bare shell is only supposed to weigh around 500lbs.
If the trees are so close it can't be pulled through with a little tree trimming, then look into a crane. I have a mental image of what this looks like, and it makes me wish I was still living in Phoenix. Even if I couldn't buy it, I would have been over there to confirm that it's a real six for anyone who asked. |

I was right behind you with my email address and a request for a phone number. Nothing. Not sure what is going on here unless he is observing the 1st Come First Served protocol.
Been looking for a dry 'mothballed' 6 for a few years. Have seen a few that have been pickled by Northern Brine..........would rather work with vinyl DUST than Northern RUST. Good Luck with this one! I need to find a fellow Teener where I live to get me interested and motivated to work on my '72 thats been parked for 10 years in storage... |

I love it when people tell me you can't get a car out. "Watch me", I say.
We had a 53 Coupe body one time, accessible by ATV only, we built a road to get it out. Big John says you gotta think Egyptian, levers, manpower, etc. If someone can post pics I can walk you through some ways that work. The car pictured is in the UK now getting restored. Save them all! Last I heard from the guy on YouTube was that he was going to get his grandson to post a video and link it - That was yesterday... Nothing today. He seems to answer me there but be ignoring the others from here that are posting. Do you guys want me to try and ask him something specific?? I don't have anything or interest in this except for hoping that a teener gets saved. |

Just like others here, this looks like an interesting project and would love to be involved in reviving a 6. Just seems odd that the seller has not provided any contact information, specially since it's been posted for a year. Might be one of those too good to be true stories.
I know I would be interested. Would also offer help if needed to whoever picks it up. |

I don't have anything or interest in this except for hoping that a teener gets saved. I tried a few times and haven’t heard from seller either. I’m sure he got bombarded. Seems he’s not really interested in doing anything but craning out. Probably had many aborted attempts which is why he’s gun shy. The previous guy backing out for $4500 total? A difficult path for approval and retrieval Seems worth it for a real 6... As for the City and HOA, I do that for a living, in fact I’m working on a residental project in Palm Springs right now. The City is very difficult for sure, but with the right knowhow, not impossible. I’d love to take an honest shot at this - assuming the crane and the proper channels though the HOA and City. If anyone willing to share contact info (or pass along mine), I’d be much appreciative. |

When I bought my 6 the whole exchange was very weird, it turned out the seller had well over ~400 people contact him and I was (for what ever reason (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif)) the one he decided to talk to and I was able to seal the deal.
Patience @Rider914 but stay with it, you have to try to "lay hands on the car"--that's when everything changes, but then you also have to seal the deal. All joking aside, I, as well as others, are totally willing to jump in and assist if we can to make this love connection happen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

Did anybody get any feedback on this or did it turn out to be fake?
