Just did a final inspection and put a coat of wax on my car. Still need to wipe down interior, clean windows and give the body one more wipe down to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Have a “detail” bag and tool bag packed along with my fire extinguisher in the frunk. Got my AAA card and that should do it. We will hit the road at 6:15 Friday morning. In case I forget have a great and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! WOW I just realized I bought my first almost new 914 around the time you were born. Last minute working on the car can’t wait to see all. I’m bringing both our boys. Winston did the last WCR and will be coming with me and Manas our oldest 28 year old will be looking for a passenger seat for the Saturday run. Manas is wanting to build a 914/big Subby. Putting a Feeler out for anybody with a 914/Subby or that has a empty passenger seat.

Wow that's a good early turnout!

See you guys tomorrow. I'm about 95% gonna take the 914. Took it for a 45min drive today and the old issues are creaping up but I think it's drivable.
