I like the push fastener idea ! I have struggled with the "C" clips falling off. I ended up using "E" clops, but like your approach better ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Great solution to a near universal problem.......actually two problems. The 'lobster claw' clip was no longer dependable on an oxidised post and when it was firm it didn't remove excess wobble on the hook. Excellent innovation Bruce. Seems to me early cars ('70-'72 ?) had a chrome plated flat rest for the rubber block attached to the roof. Later cars it was black |

Originally had one early and one late rear brake caliper too. |
