My brake pedal is at the floor and the e-brake light comes on during braking.

I do have some stopping power but it is much diminished.

The rear half of the reservoir was dry so I filled it (the front half was at the line).

I pulled the carpet and noticed that the area around the pedal is very wet.

I looked under the car and noticed a wet area behind the master cylinder.

Should I replace the master cylinder?

If so, do you have a recommendation of where to buy it?

Light is on because the master cylinder has failed. New 17mm have been NLA for years. Pull your pedal assembly out and rebuild it too. Brake fluid ruins the plastic bearings and eats the paint off everything.
