My brake pedal is at the floor and the e-brake light comes on during braking.

I do have some stopping power but it is much diminished.

The rear half of the reservoir was dry so I filled it (the front half was at the line).

I pulled the carpet and noticed that the area around the pedal is very wet.

I looked under the car and noticed a wet area behind the master cylinder.

Should I replace the master cylinder?

If so, do you have a recommendation of where to buy it?

Yes, new MC and rubber lines. PMB Performance.

Light is on because the master cylinder has failed. New 17mm have been NLA for years. Pull your pedal assembly out and rebuild it too. Brake fluid ruins the plastic bearings and eats the paint off everything.

Can supply a ready to go oedal set if you choose to not rebuild it yourself.
boxster914
is the 914rubber 19mm unit good or is PMB superior in some way?
