That was fun, thanks. Most enjoyed the marketing footage around 4:30. A big emphasis on featuring handling.
It is very apparent that none of the cars featured in the handling oriented footage had anti sway bars. The engineers must have been very confident in their homework on that. They must have felt that bigger roll angles were important in vehicle dynamics and not at all detrimental. My sense is that cornering limits on the sway bar equipped cars were not not significantly different than those without. That seems reasonable to me (there are other factors that determine ultimate performance of which roll angles is only one) but for me the feel is much different. The car feels way more precise with them. Sorry for the drift here. Thanks again for posting |
