Fill a large dog bowl with cheap beer and leave it out. They crawl up into it, get sloshed, and can't crawl out again. Works remarkably well...

Back when I lived in washinton I had some roommates with a 2 year old boy. They were trying to get him to go to the bathroom before bed. He would not do it. I told him to go find some slugs in the backyard and pee on them. All exited off he ran peeing on about 4 slugs. He was giggling up a storm when he came back. I then asked what the slugs were doing now, so he gets down about 2" away from the slug and say eeeewww! there MELTING! heh heh heh.

I bet a 5 second burst of brake cleaner would pretty much take it out.

The beer in the bowl works gud. Just don't forget to empty is regularly or it becomes a frothing mass of.....sludge......that word doesn't do it justice. Doesn't smell too shiney either. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif)

Actually the yellow banana ones are not bad. It's the brown ones that will eat your garden in the night. Eddy

Ok, I see..

So Dave, ducks eat banana slugs? Slug fattened ducks don't seem too appealing, as a dinner.. and then you have the persistant banana slug/eaten duck syndrome, anyhow..

Does anything eat duck shit? I am thinking that is the answer.
