You all could hear the engine.

I hit 40 in 2nd... I probably hit 60. Not to impressive, It was my first time out I was really just learning the course.

I've hit 85 at another auto x in dads car..

but.. like Joe said..

I'll have you saying OMG Holy shit or something like that.

Or screaming and giggling...

You want more speed? go to a track. Im perfectly content racing my car at the auto x.

I think I could make it dedicated... I honestly had more fun autoxing the car then at the wcc track.

Glad to see you are having fun Andrew. I have always thought of you as a "good kid". The SCCA scene is a whole different ballgame. You will enjoy it.

Here in Diego,

they build 1.4 mile AutoX tracks. Not very friendly for 2.0 914's, but a V8 would kick some serious ASS..LOL

Screaming and giggling is OK if you are a cutie.
If you are a big hairy guy holy shit will be just fine. Or damn that was cool is also an acceptable response.

Yea Qualcom stadium is huge. I gotta get back out that way again.

Wow brad, dont make me want to move! *drools over thought of 1.4 mile auto x track. Then wakes back up over the thought of rising oil temps.*

BTW, Glad to see you active!

Thanks for the compliment.

Andrew,

When I'm away, you can be sure that my attitude is in the shitter. I try and stay away from everyone when I have a bad attitude, not just the BBS.

You know first hand: you and the young adults your age (Grasshopper for instance) will be the ones to carry on the 914 torch after us 30/somethings are long gone. I know exactly what it feels like to AutoX at age 16+ in a 914. I was lucky enough to be around it at the same age you are now. It heavily influenced my life and direction (for bad and good) I may not wrench on them every day, but they have not left my life. Nor will they ever.

You are a great guy that thinks for more than himself.

Ha ha.. no need to compliment me. I put my pants on the same way you do every morning (one leg at a time) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) Tell mom and dad I said hello.

I'll be up soon to help Randall get his new setup straightened out.
