Google Earth streams the world over wired and wireless networks enabling users to virtually go anywhere on the planet and see places in photographic detail. This is not like any map you have ever seen. This is a 3D model of the real world, based on real satellite images combined with maps, guides to restaurants, hotels, entertainment, businesses and more. You can zoom from space to street level instantly and then pan or jump from place to place, city to city, even country to country. It's interesting what you can see with it.... |

Fun. I can see my neighbourhood, and my street and my house. Bit fuzzy after that, but I think that's my wife's fuzzy silver car there in the driveway and I am pretty sure that is my neighbour's fuzzy dog pooping on my front lawn. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

The pics of my neighborhood are about 2 years old.
Satelite pics show no mega homes where there are many now. Very cool. Checking out the Rubicon Trail where we go camping, dirt biking, and 4 wheeling. Nice detail of our camp site. =-) Hey, is that G-friend skinny dipping? |

Lately I've been playing with their WEB version of maps.
Google Maps You can switch between map and satellite views and can drag the image around using the mouse. I like it alot better than Yahoo, or Mapquest. This is nice for those that can't run the Google Earth application. --- bill |

I found my house, had the 911 in the driveway, and my boat on the trailer in the back.
I sold the boat 4 years ago, so the pic is kinda old very cool though |

Pretty scary stuff. Especially Zois' house! I got the GPS co-odinates for targeting purposes.
