AA has the red hoses or look at this thread here on Djet hoses.

BTW other than the green hose the Ljet doesn't have coloured (red) hose.
You don't say which engine you have.

I would get George to confirm whether AA still has colored hoses. There is another thread somewhere with people saying the recent hose kits they ordered didn't have colored hoses even though the catalog description still suggests they do.

Here's a pic of my hoses after painting with fabric paint described in the DJet hose link that Mark posted.

I ordered the AA hose kit and although the picture shows red colored hoses, they are blackish, and the smallest hose is green. My wife has tried dyeing and spray on fabric paint but nothing works. We just ordered the sponge on fabric paint from Amazon and will try next week.

I did manage to buy some of the small diameter hose in red and have the manufacturer’s name, but no response from their customer service.

914Rubber needs to fill this gap (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). @Mikey914

914 Rubber has the vacuum hose in the correct size, at least for the D-Jet. Not sure if they have the red, but they do have the grey/black. You might have to pm them to get it.

Thanks, I am specifically looking for the factory red hoses... have been looking on and off for three years and cannot find the larger red fabric hoses.

Here is a picture of the AA kit and the small red hose from Porsche.

Just being able to get the small green hose would be great. You can see in my pic that the green is a little too bright. I'm going to order a jar of white paint the next time I place an Amazon order and see if that can be tamed a bit, but would love to get the original if possible. The down side to the opaque fabric paint method is that you lose the manufacturing printing.

The OEM hose is just Continental German made hose that is available many places. I've gotten it through Bel-Metric and Pelican. Just can't find it in colors anymore.

Also, here's a link to my build thread where there are more details on the paint method I used in case it helps anyone: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?s=&...t&p=2883669

We were able to get red and green hoses. However they were quite expensive (about 2x the going rate). and didn't see how we could sell these at that price. I'd be happy to bring these in for those that want them. They come from Germany so would take a few weeks. I could do a GB for those that need them

I don't think 2x the regular hose price is out of line. I easily spent that on materials to paint mine. I'd be in for a GB.

I'd take 3 sets right now...and I might have another one.

I'd be OK with enough hose to do 3 sets, I can cut the hose myself as long as there's enough.

This is the kit I recently purchased from AA. Happy to get the green hose but sad due to lack of red hose.
With this kit being almost $90 shipped, I don’t think 914 rubber will have any issues selling it. This red hose is the cherry on top of our engines. I am definitely on board for purchasing some.

i am sending a whole paycheck (again) to you soon enough Mike so why not a little more? I just got the AA kit for the 75 and would have loved the red and brown hoses as well. A highly accurate hose kit would be the cherry on top and worth it.
