Time to re-grease my CV joints and I have a tub of Lucas Red "N" Tacky Grease that says it is a high quality lithium complex grease fortified with extreme pressure (EP) lubricant additives that inhibit rust, corrosion, and oxidation setting it apart from similar greases. It is rated as NLGI #2 and GC-LB, although I haven't yet searched out those specifications. Made in the USA. I'm using this on the wheel bearings of my trailer and was wondering if it also could be used for the CV Joints on the 914. Was wondering if anyone has used this grease for this application successfully, and/or if there is another grease that may come highly recommended from experienced users.
