Are these specific to the year of the struts or a-arms??
I plan on going to HPH on Tuesday to purchase a bunch of stuff and I know that my struts are '74 /4 parts, but I have a few different -arms to pick from and do not know what years they are, or if it even matters also.... I know some people have had problems with the rear wheel bearings as bought brand new, is there a specific brand to ask for or stay away from? |

The control arms are the same.. its the actual strut that dictates what ball joint you need. The early struts used a bolt thru the bottom of the strut to hold onto the ball joint.
The later struts use the "pinch" bolt style. Those are the two "styles".. I have found a benefit to either one. Rich will more than likely carry the "correct" wheel bearing that you need. B |
