1974 Alaska Blue 914/6 - VIN 4742920898 Original Alaska Blue Metallic Garaged since full repaint Steel flares Chrome Bumpers Six Conversion using a 1973.5 2.4T motor Exterior Newer paint - in original ABM Steel flares Chrome bumpers Aftermarket bumper tops MSDS lower rear valence Needs a flared front valance - steel on now, have an extra FG Refurbished Targa top - by Yeomans in Palo Alto New windshield chrome New external mirrors New Fog light grills - chrome New front signal markers - with Spoke LED front turn signals Stock rear signal assembly with Euro lenses Mostly new seals Flared FG rockers Interior RAAmat doors and floors Newly reupholstered seats fitted with period correct corduroy and leather New seat belts New door panels Refurbished drivers floor plate Rebuilt pedal assembly in plated zinc New center console New fuel gauge NOS speedo - with 330 miles Dash - no cracks Center cushion / console Dino Steering Wheel Stock shifter with new shift knob Boxster CDR-210 radio Updated Fuse Panel Tires / Suspension Unused Kuhmo Tires - 265 / 60- 15 - purchased and mounted in 2009 - needs replacement Polished 15 x 8 Fuchs - Al Reed Front Sachs struts Weltmeister Front Sway Bar PMB brake calipers Rebuilt hand brake cable / linkage Boxster spare tire Front and Rear Elephant bushings Restored and painted trailing arms and A arms Motor / Transmission 1973.5 2.4T former CIS motor Previous owner sourced from SLITS Unstamped replacement motor 7R case Turbo Valve Covers Powder coated engine tin Painted engine fan blade Motor has 330 miles since re-start up MSD ignition (red) New Alternator New fuel pump and filter (up front) Weber Dual Carbs /6 Ceramic Coated Headers - no heat 914/6 style muffler with dual exhaust Renn linkage All new cables 901 transmission - clean and painted New CV joints History Southern California Car Original Alaska Blue Metallic 2.0 PO bought the car in So Cal in 2006 and sold to me in 2015 2015 on here in Pleasanton, CA. Rear end had been very lightly tapped and repaired correctly. Additional repair to front pass fender during flare installation. Chassis inspected and found little rust beyond the hell hole and battery tray support which were professionally treated with POR-15 and a new battery tray installed. Metal work completed by an independent metal work guy in So Cal (Milt / Zeke). Have pictures. I reassembled the interior and got the motor started. I took the car to Don Wise at Don's Autowerks in Campbell to go through a full inspection bumper to bumper. Many issues were resolved. Drove and camped at Rennsport Reunion. Been driven around Pleasanton ever since. Needs +Driving +Sort out carbs +Battery dies rather quickly (Boxster CDR 210?) +Tires + Ignition wonky Boxes of spares including matching paint and other parts. I have seen Rob's 914 in person. It is a nice car and I believe at his asking price he is leaving money on the table. So if this is what you are looking for, you better snap this up before it vanishes and you end up regretting it for decades. Just sayin.
