also - front guard of red car behind your car earlier in thread.
is that what i think it is? can't tell, probably not.

Looks like a ZE1 Honda Insight to me.
Neat car! built along side the NSX
I always wanted to take one, remove the hybrid crap, and install a max effort 1.0L Honda
based engine (might be a bike engine) and hunt LSR records in the baby classes.
That is till I saw this...

The little pups are aerodynamically unstable above 200 mph!
The cage in that car was "worth its weight in gold" on that day.

To the OP. Damn Nice car thanks for the pictures

@simonjb

can i ask a question of you for our 1.8 L-Jet research?

what is the painted stencil number on the engine tin.
usually hidden down where heater blower hoses go to engine tin.
could be on either side.

this looks like it was originally a 49 state car.
without gauges or console (standard temp sensor lid on engine sump).

predicting stencil number is 918? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

It has painted stencil 918

thanks mate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

the few that are here are tightly held.
never come up for sale. all change hands behind the scenes.
