Hello All:
I just bought some new hood springs from 914 Rubber during their Memorial Day Sale. Installed them yesterday; what a job! Went out today to open the hood and the springs couldn't keep it up. They were placed on the second spring setting, since they would not keep the hood up on the first setting. Anyone else having this problem keeping it up? Did I just get a pair of bad springs? My car is an early 1970 model year 914 (built December 1969). Springs were 914 Rubber part # OEM 9145111631OE. Mike D. |
