Run the hoses alongside the passenger side long behind the valance. If have pic's detailing the routing of the freon lines. Here is a neat trick; drill a 1/2" hole directly through the middle of the front passenger "donut" (where you place the hydraulic jack)and route your condensate drain through it. Have it terminate 1/2" below the metal "donut" so it won't contribute to rusting out and then it is hidden from site and won't interfere with any jack you might need to use. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Start at post #593. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?s=&...t&p=2219962 Here's something I came up with to mount a compressor on a type 4 motor in a VW Bus, using a serpentine belt. It has been bulletproof for about 6 summers now. Attached thumbnail(s) |
