IMHDO (In My Humble Design Opinion)
Finally test fitted the Recaro seat, pd wheel, and Boxster shifter combination. The rest of the interior will follow these three design elements. Simple, not too organic shapes, and of course Porsche Design parts. My challenge will be to tie the roll cage, door panels, and fixed seat ala early 914-6 with these parts. The Boxster shifter may give way to a simpler knob and longer shaft as I don't want to mount it up higher on a console. The knob and boot shape don't quite "fit". Attached image(s) |
