Yep. Nelson lost his passion and did the honorable thing by sending her home for me to sort and sell for him.
There will be many more pictures soon, but here she is, freshly delivered from NM. Starting price will be $65k. I'm happy and sad. I want it to go to a good home. It's the finest car I've ever built. 3.2L, Nikasil, JE 10.5:1, Twin plug, PMO throttle bodies, custom fuel injection and ignition, rotisserie body build, steel flares. It's literally the only actual 'zero rust, zero accident' car I've done in 30 years of doing this. As I always say: "Offered here first"..... because this is the first place it should be offered. That didn’t take long.
Say what you will about flippers … it was sold between educated adults and the new owner has the right to do whatever he wants with his car. |

Agreed, but the pre-sale hype story did not match the outcome, and that was unexpected. Well I agree that there seems to be a lack of integrity from the buyer. Too bad he won’t get to experience the great 914 community. |

Well I agree that there seems to be a lack of integrity from the buyer. Too bad he won’t get to experience the great 914 community. Well said. If there's any consolation, he still ain't sold it. That's really the only way to curb flipping, just don't buy it and let him think about his money being tied up and the possibility of no ROI. It's such a shame too, because it's an incredible car. Belongs with someone who's going to take care of her. Dan |
