we have just finished our last major lockdown here in Sydney and I spent some of the time looking for magazine scans to put on my laptop
I found two for sale advertisements in a PCA Panorama from November 1984 that were of interest
the first - # 1907 - is the car I own now and bought from Texas in late 2013
the second - # 2591 - is now the Porsche Museum 914-6 which was owned by a friend in south Los Angeles in 2009
he took me for several drives around south LA and that convinced me to buy a 914-6 sooner rather than later

what are the chances of seeing the two side by side in 1984 ?
maybe its time for a Lotto ticket ?

Sometimes I look at these old classifieds and search these vins and see if I can find photos of the cars in question.

Few of these popped up, same locations too.
