914 World production chart says there were 16,639 1973 2.0 Liter cars built and only 5,597 1974 2.0 Liter cars built which would make the 1974 2.0 Liter cars more rare than the 1973 2.0 cars.

However, if you look at serial numbers of 2.0 liter engines offered for 73 vs 74 you would see that there were 6765 for 1973 and 8256 for 1974 making the 1973 2.0 Liter cars slightly more rare.
