dear all,

out of necessity I had some needed parts done for the
KARO Ski Rack
for the 914 and sure for others racks possible, too.

All parts are done from stainless steel to prevent any rust issues, which made some of the racks unusable.

The one part is the
L profile
17,5x21,5x25x3
with two inner threads M4
for the front ski rack mounting points on the windscreen. This parts had been guillotine cutted, folded, sawed, milled flat, drilled, countersinked, and threads cutted.

price per piece: 24,20€

The other part is the
„clamp plate foot“, a
hexagonal bolts SW9 with connecting thread M 8x20 and countersunk spigot DM 4x4.5mm, GL 21,5mm
for fastening the part against the above described L profiles. These parts had been saw cut, milled and deburred, threads turned and countersunk spigots made. the „clamp plates“ had been sawed, milled and deburred, drilled, countersinked and assembled.

price per piece: 52,40€

shipping out of Bavaria.

feel free to get in contact with me 24/7/365

Beautiful work.
Is there any chance you can replicate the colorful leather straps and the metal oval
loops that attach the straps to the rack ?
Thank you

the exact replica of the leather straps is some issue, as there had been a unique „stamping tool“ and a special machine used. Red leather straps, made to measure, same length, same hole size and spacing, is not that issue.

The oval ring - any metal worker nearby you should be able to make this..(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

If you have a good cobbler in town, go see him. A good one can do a lot more than fix leather shoes.
