But 76's used stickers, could put them anyplace.

Not really a car of caliber for Mecum I would think. It's a decent 914, but not a spectacular one. Too many unoriginal things about it.

Have looked at many auction 914's over the years here in Scottsdale and probably only seen one or two that were really decent. A real 6 this year at Gooding was average at best, with an accident history that was obvious if you looked at the rear trunk, and with a very average paint job, etc. Still brought good money.
A couple at B-J were also average at best. I remember a nonappearance early car a couple years ago at Bonhams that was a total embarrassment. Couldn't believe they would even accept it.
Not sure I'd ever really consider one at an auction unless I really knew its history.
