I am looking for some vacuum hose that fits on the oil fill breather and normally runs to the air box on L-Jet. I need it to run to the air cleaners on my new injection system so it needs to be longer than stock and somewhat flexible.
That hose measures 21 or 22mm ID and I am having trouble finding something to work in this application. Anybody know of any sources? |

AA cite it as a 19mm hose. parts catalogue specs it at 20mm. this is for the 1.8 L jet. its quite a big diam hose on the L jets. not sure if that is inside or outside diam. would need to take a close look at mine. i do know i could not get that hose in original cloth spec anywhere when i tried two years ago. fortunately mine is still holding up. the one hose that seems very hard to find. it might be available in alternative materials. but its not part of any standard cloth hose kit. EDIT i looked right into this too. even though i am down here in far off australia my mechanic had a very helpful contact at porsche. turns out these cloth hoses are still made in germany and as OEM hoses for audi. our contact had access to audi spare parts catalogues for new audis. still couldn't turn that particular hose up. |
