Hi all,
I'm refreshing the stock rear coil over springs on my "76 914, #3947, with new BOGE shocks and 914rubber 100# springs. My question has to do with the orientation of the holes in the rear perches. What is their function and does it really matter?? And yes, I seem to have way too much free time on my hands lately! In the attached photo, the holes are facing rearward, away from each other, in what I call"chassis outside reference". If the assemblies are switched (not shown), the holes are facing each other rearward in a "chassis inside reference". Thank for looking! |
