I have a set of engine tins that have a plastic tube attached to a square hole in the driver’s side rear. What years does this fit? The parts manual says WO engine if I read it correctly.

Do a WTB for a later set of 1.8 upper tin. That set you have might be of some value to a person needing that specific style.

As stated above the engine tin is for a 1.7 with a thermostatic air cleaner assembly. All for early emissions controls to help get the intake temperatures up quicker to allow for better fuel atomization. When the temperature reached a certain point usually a bi-metallic spring would shut off flow from that pipe and start pulling "fresh cooler air."
